Rene Rodriquez might be the first Dominican male model in the international high fashion field and I hope not the last one. Because just as we have gorgeous exotic Dominican girls we have hot guys but they don't tend to go for modeling. Rene was discovered by the same designer that discovered Arlenis Sosa, Luis Menier. Rene was signed on the spot by Request models and immediately started working walking the f/w 08 runway for Lacoste, American Eagle, Duckied Brown and Gap. He was also photographed by Cliff Whatts for "Vibe" magazine. He was also chose for Vogue, V magazine, Surface and New York Times Magazine. You can see Rene in the United Colors of Benetton f/w 08 ad campaign.
